upsc prelims 2012 cutoff

CUT OFF 

Based on various analysis cutoffs are expected to be in range of 215-235 


Feedback from students is always important, Please share your scores in comments , that will help us in projecting the cutoffs more precisely.

    1. there are good chances that there is a difference between answer posted on various websites and actual answers.

      so you there is always a chance until results are declared by UPSC.

    You are expecting total score of 210, so very good chances.

    1. We have calculate the range on the basis of Open category.

      At this moment difficult to say anything on the cutoffs for other categories.

      You may consider cutoffs for general for your reference.

  15. I Agree with above post,
    Paper was damn easy as per the admin of this blog,
    So the cut off must be 300+.
    since num of people writng the exam are also more,
    It can go upto 320 also.

      By sure the cut off wont go beyond 210... Have u checked ur answers with any of the key provided.. Please do so..

      Also dont confuse others with these kinds of details.. No way the cut off would be these much higher. Last year gen cut off is around 200 only.

  16. Based on response from candidates, previous experience and after considering other facts we have derived range of 215-235.

    i think 300+ is very high.

    1. Official UPSC information provided through RTI. Last year's cut off for general category was 180...so all you knw all guys trying to freak candidates out, please take a chill pill.... UPSC cut off is never above 45%.

    2. This is wrong information. RTI from the UPSC has confirmed that 2011 cut off for general category was 198/400
